At GLS our personnel have over 30 years’ experience in the design of commercial kitchens in all sectors of the hospitality industry and types of establishments.
Whether it’s a large or a small commercial kitchen design for a restaurant, hotel or pub etc, the following workflow pattern applies: Delivery, Storage, Preparation, Cooking, Food Service Area & Wash-up.
Our commercial kitchen design services commence with a meeting to obtain an overview of the project, discussing your operational requirements, budgets, the building/ area where the kitchen is to be located etc. From the information gathered we would produce an initial CAD layout with options where applicable and arrange a follow up meeting to discuss in detail.
A detailed CAD layout would follow with an equipment legend and an itemised quotation.
Once GLS have been appointed a services layout is produced detailing the electrical and mechanical requirements.
Throughout the process a designated project manager will be assigned to attend meetings, liaise with architects and contractors to ensure that your commercial kitchen/ bar services requirements are in place prior to the equipment delivery and installation.
Finally the handover of the kitchen/ bar with GLS providing a folder containing the operational and maintenance manuals, certificates and arranging equipment training.
