The new 182-bedroom Hampton By Hilton hotel on Ealing’s Uxbridge Road comprises nine floors over a single level basement housing the kitchen.
GLS were initially appointed to design the basement kitchen and breakfast inset display units, together with the ground floor bar and pantry areas, which connected to the basement with a hoist.
Our contract was extended to include the supply and installing of all the kitchen and bar equipment, plus the coldrooms and ventilation canopies.
We worked closely with the main contractor as the works were phased to suit the build programme. The busy location meant that all deliveries were coordinated to ensure each area were ready for the incoming equipment, which could then be installed as efficiently as possible.
GLS were subsequently appointed to design the kitchen for the new Hampton By Hilton hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
