Based in the newly redeveloped Turnmill building in Clerkenwell, the Albion is the latest addition to the Prescott and Conran chain of food and drink destinations.
The largest Albion to date, it offers a range of dining for everything from breakfast to dinner. With a menu that combines classic recipes with a modern sensibility, it includes a grill room, a pie room and an oyster bar, all spread over three floors.
The Albion has three kitchens designed, supplied and installed by GLS. First is the main kitchen on the ground floor servicing the grill room and café. On the lower ground floor is the bakery kitchen which supplies both the restaurant and the shop. And finally, there’s the basement kitchen to service the pie room. The kitchens are linked via a lift with the wash-up located on the ground-floor level.
