Key elements of a ventilation system from GLS

  • Canopies built to a high standard using high-grade stainless steel to meet all the necessary criteria. The type and style of kitchen canopy will depend on the cooking equipment in place and the level of grease extraction required. It will also be designed with the general kitchen environment in mind.

  • Extraction, which can include a supply air (make-up air) system with the options of electric heating, low pressure hot water (LPHW) heating, or heat reclamation. It can also include systems for hot/cold comfort-cooling, as well as various forms of grease elimination, smoke abatement and odour control.

  • Fans and controls designed to suit each unique application, including gas interlock systems.

  • Fire suppression system based on the cooking equipment layout.
